Store plastisol ink in a clean, dry area away from excessive heat, direct sunlight, and freezing temperatures. Keep the lid closed when the ink is not in use to prevent contamination.

Stir the ink thoroughly before printing to restore a smooth, consistent texture. Avoid mixing different ink series unless the manufacturer confirms they are compatible. 

Low-cure ink is formulated to cure at a lower temperature, which can help reduce energy use, increase dryer capacity, and protect heat-sensitive garments.

Low-bleed ink is designed to help block dye migration when printing on polyester and other dyed synthetic fabrics. Many polyester inks offer both low-cure and low-bleed properties, but the terms do not mean exactly the same thing.

The correct cure temperature depends on the specific ink formula. Traditional plastisol inks often require the entire ink layer to reach approximately 320°F, while low-cure plastisol inks may cure at temperatures closer to 260°F to 290°F.

Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the specific ink. Check the actual ink-film temperature with a temperature probe, heat strips, or another reliable testing method rather than relying only on the dryer’s display.
