CFX Ice White Opaque Plastisol Screen Printing Ink

Achieve bright white prints and reliable production performance with CFX Ice White Plastisol Screen Printing Ink, a highly opaque white ink formulated primarily for cotton garments. Featuring fast-flashing characteristics, good fiber mat-down, and a comfortable hand with good elasticity, Ice White is an excellent choice for first-down and underbase applications. Designed for both manual and automatic screen printing presses, this versatile white plastisol ink helps professional screen printers produce vibrant, clean-looking graphics while maintaining an efficient production workflow.

Key Features & Benefits

  • High-Opacity, Bright White Coverage: Creates a brilliant white foundation that helps colors stand out, making it an excellent choice for underbase printing and bold graphics on cotton apparel.
  • Fast Flashing for Efficient Production: Its fast-flash characteristics help prepare the first-down white layer for subsequent print passes, supporting smooth workflows in busy screen printing shops.
  • Good Fiber Mat-Down: Helps manage fabric fibers within the print area for a cleaner-looking finish, particularly important when producing quality prints on cotton garments.
  • Comfortable Hand and Good Elasticity: Designed to provide a good hand feel and flexibility, helping create wearable prints suited to a range of cotton apparel applications.
  • Versatile Manual and Automatic Printing: Compatible with both manual and automatic screen printing presses, with a recommended mesh range of 100–305 threads per inch for flexibility across different production setups.

Ideal Applications & Recommended Use

CFX Ice White is ideal for professional screen printers, contract decorators, custom apparel businesses, and production shops printing T-shirts, sweatshirts, promotional garments, and other primarily cotton products. Use it as a first-down white or underbase to establish a bright foundation for additional colors. It may also be used on some cotton/polyester blends, potentially with a BB Grey underbase; always pretest before beginning a production run.

For recommended setup, use 100–305 mesh, a dual-cure direct emulsion or capillary film, and a square-profile 60–90 Shore squeegee. The typical flash temperature is 150°F (65°C) on preheated pallets. Cure the ink at 320°F (160°C) for 60–90 seconds, verifying that the ink film reaches the required temperature. Store between 60°F and 95°F, away from direct sunlight. Avoid dry cleaning, bleaching, or ironing the printed image.
