CFX BB Grey – Anti-Migration Barrier Base Plastisol Ink

CFX BB Grey is a high-opacity, anti-migration barrier base plastisol ink specifically formulated to help prevent dye migration when screen printing on polyester and polyester-blend fabrics. Part of the CFX PRIME Plastisol Ink Series, this specialized grey underbase acts as a protective barrier between polyester garment dyes and the final printed ink layers, helping maintain vibrant, accurate colors.

Designed for both manual and automatic screen printing presses, CFX BB Grey provides a reliable solution for printers working with polyester garments that are prone to dye migration. Its opaque grey formula helps reduce the risk of garment dyes bleeding through printed designs, making it an essential underbase for polyester screen printing applications.

CFX BB Grey is supplied ready to use and is formulated to deliver effective anti-migration performance without the need for additional modifiers.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Anti-Migration Protection: Formulated to act as a barrier against dye migration from polyester fabrics into printed ink layers.

  • Manual & Automatic Printing: Compatible with both manual and automatic screen printing equipment.

  • Ready to Print: Supplied ready for use with no additional modifiers required.

  • Improved Print Quality: Helps maintain consistent colors by reducing unwanted dye bleeding and discoloration.

Application Recommendations

For most polyester fabrics, apply one layer of CFX BB Grey, flash the ink, and follow with one layer of CFX Poly White or CFX Premium Poly White before applying the final print colors.

This process helps create a barrier against dye migration, reducing the likelihood of polyester dyes affecting the appearance of finished prints.

Important: Some fabrics may require additional barrier protection. One layer of CFX BB Grey may not provide sufficient anti-migration performance for every polyester garment. Testing is recommended before beginning production.

Ideal Applications

CFX BB Grey is an excellent choice for screen printers producing custom polyester apparel, athletic uniforms, performance garments, team jerseys, and other polyester-blend products.

Whether printing on a manual press or running high-volume production on an automatic screen printing press, this anti-migration plastisol ink helps protect finished designs from unwanted dye migration.

Care Instructions: Do not dry clean, bleach, or iron directly over the printed image.
